Who We Are

Hey, I'm Landon, the person behind Musky Outfitters.

I started Musky because I wanted to create clothing that actually represents where I'm from and the lifestyle I grew up around. I'm from northern Minnesota, and a lot of my life has been spent around lakes, woods, hockey rinks, and the outdoors. That Northwoods/Midwest lifestyle is what inspired the look and feel behind Musky.

I'm 18 and recently graduated from high school. Right now, I'm getting ready to move away from home to play junior hockey while also trying to build something of my own. Musky started as an idea for a clothing brand: something simple, rugged, comfortable, and connected to the places I grew up around.

A lot of the designs are inspired by real scenery from places like Lake Superior and the Northwoods. I wanted the clothes to have an older, worn-in outdoor feel rather than looking overly modern or flashy. Something you could throw on for a night by the lake, a road trip up north, around a campfire, or just wear every day.

I'm still at the very beginning of all of this. Musky isn't some huge company with a massive team behind it. Right now, it's me learning as I go, coming up with designs, building the website, and trying to turn an idea into a real brand.

My goal is to build Musky Outfitters into something that represents the Midwest and the people who call it home, while still making something anyone who appreciates the outdoors can wear.
